Who we are

Digitise-Me is operated by Embroidery Machines Ireland, Unit 3 Inch Business Park, North County Dublin. Contact: info@embroiderymachinesireland.ie.

This notice explains what we collect when you use Digitise-Me, why we use it, and your rights under Irish and EU data protection law (including the GDPR). It is plain-language guidance — not legal advice.

Account data

When you register or update your profile we store details such as name, email, password hash, company, phone (if provided), VAT region / VAT number, and billing preferences. We use this to run your account, process orders, and contact you about jobs or billing.

Uploaded artwork & finished files

Artwork you upload and finished digitising/vector files we deliver are stored so we can complete and support your orders. Files are retained for operational and support purposes. You may ask us to delete your account data and associated files (see below); we will action reasonable requests subject to legal or accounting retention needs.

Billing (Stripe)

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe processes payment details under their own privacy terms. We store Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and invoice-related metadata needed to show billing status in the app.

Email (Resend)

Transactional emails (e.g. order updates, contact form replies) may be sent via Resend. Your email address and message content are processed for that purpose only.

Cookies & session

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is essential for the service to work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on Digitise-Me.

Retention

Account records and order history are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, dispute handling, and tax/accounting. Uploaded and finished files are kept with the related order unless you request deletion or we no longer need them for those purposes.

Your rights & deletion requests

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or object to certain processing. Email info@embroiderymachinesireland.ie or use our contact form. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission if you believe your rights have not been respected.

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
